WHERE IS HIGHWEALD WINE ESTATE?

From Haywards Heath Train Station/Ansty :

Follow Market Pl and Paddockhall Rd to B2272 (2 min, 0.6 mi), then follow B2272 and A272 to Deak’s Ln in Ansty (5 min, 2.5 mi). After 1 mile on Deak’s Ln, turn left and travel 200ft down the road. You will see Highweald gates on your left – park opposite the gates in the designated car park.

From Slough Green/Staplefield:

Turn off B2114 onto Deak’s Ln and drive 1 mile. After the Cuckfield Cattery, take the first right and travel 200ft down the road. You will see Highweald gates on your left – park opposite the gates in the designated car park.

HOW DO YOU SUGGEST GETTING TO HIGHWEALD?

We are located just a short taxi journey from Haywards Heath Train Station, with trains departing every 10-15 minutes.

We would highly recommend booking a taxi for both journeys to/from Highweald in advance of your visit, especially if visiting on the weekend. Our recommended taxi providers are:

DO YOU HAVE PARKING ONSITE?

You can park free of charge at Highweald. It is a short walk from the parking area to the tasting room. We do not have facilities for coach parking.

CAN I HIRE THE GARDEN BAR FOR PRIVATE FUNCTIONS, SUCH AS PARTIES OR WEDDING RECEPTIONS?

Yes, our Garden Bar is available for private hire. Please contact us for rates and dates at info@highwealdwine.com

ACCESSIBILITY

If you or one of your party have restricted walking ability, please contact us in advance of your visit, and we’ll make arrangements for you to be as comfortable as possible. The tasting room has ramp access, and accessible toilets suitable for a person with restricted walking ability and for those that use a wheelchair some of the time. We welcome registered carers and assistance dogs free of charge when they are accompanying visitors with special needs.

ARE DOGS ALLOWED AT HIGHWEALD?

Dogs are welcome on the estate’s public footpaths, but please ensure dogs are kept on a lead whilst on Highweald land. We allow well behaved dogs on leads on the decking of the Garden Bar but not in other areas on the estate. Please note, dogs are not permitted on Tours and Tastings.

 

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT TOURS AND EVENTS?

We are unable to accept any children under the age of 18 on our Tours and Tastings, however children are welcome in our Garden Bar.

ARE HIGHWEALD WINES VEGAN?

All Highweald wines are vegan and made entirely without animal products.

WHERE IS MY ORDER?

We deliver wines to customers across the UK. Orders will be delivered within two working days (except deliveries to Scottish Islands, Channel Islands and Isles of Scilly, which can take up to five working days and may incur extra charges). Free delivery to UK mainland is eligible with any wine purchase over £75, and orders below this value will incur a £10 delivery charge. We use trusted couriers relevant to your delivery address. During busy periods, deliveries may take longer than usual.

CANCELLATIONS

If you have booked a ticket for a tour or wine tasting event and you do not arrive for your scheduled booking, then the tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded, unless at our discretion. Any request for a refund or transfer must be made in writing, directed to info@highwealdwine.com. If we cancel your booking in its entirety, you will be entitled to a full refund for the purchase price. Tickets will be exchanged or refunded at the price paid for them, but no further compensation will be paid.

CANCELLATIONS POLICY

If you have booked a tour and/or or wine tasting event and you wish to cancel or re-arrange your session then please contact us. If you notify us more than twenty eight (28) days prior to your event date then we will offer to re-arrange your session or offer a refund for the ticket price. If you notify us within twenty eight (28) days prior to your event date then we will try to accommodate your request. However, this will be subject to the availability of alternative dates and we may deduct from your refund. If you have booked a ticket for a tour or wine tasting event and you do not arrive for your scheduled booking, then the tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded, unless at our discretion.
